Hayley Wickenheiser

A native of Shaunavon, Saskatchewan, Hayley Wickenheiser is arguably the top female hockey player in the world. Hayley starred with the Canadian national team from 1994-2008. She is a six-time world champion and the winner of two Olympic gold medals in 2002 and 2006.  Hayley, the first female to play significantly in a men's professional hockey league, had two goals and 10 assists in 23 games for HC Salamat in Finland. She also participated in the 2000 Olympics with Team Canada in softball. Beloved by fans, Hayley serves as an outstanding role model for young female athletes.
