Larry Playfair

At 6'4, 200 pounds, Larry Playfair established himself as one of the game's premier enforcers with the Buffalo Sabres. While his fights may have been legendary, Larry was also a great defenseman. He received numerous awards for his spirit and enthusiasm, always leaving everything he had on the ice. The blue line was Larry's territory in all respects. With the Kings, Larry continued his hard-nosed play. Eventually, back problems forced the Fort St. James, British Columbia native to retire, but his connection to the Sabres remains. Larry serves as President of the Buffalo Sabres Alumni Association and organizes its charitable endeavors. He also works as a color commentator for the Sabres, making him the perfect legend to connect with on Vizzitt!
