Art Shell spent his entire pro football career with the Oakland (and later Los Angeles) Raiders. Alongside guard Gene Upshaw, Art proved impenetrable as a right tackle. He anchored a Raiders offensive unit that won two Super Bowls (XI and XV). Because of his legendary ability to dominate defensive linemen - both as a pass protector and run blocker - Art received eight Pro Bowl nominations and was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1989.

 A graduate of Maryland State College (now Maryland-Eastern Shore), the Charleston, South Carolina native earned the respect of his teammates for his team-first attitude. Following his playing days, Art coached the Oakland Raiders from 1990 to 1994 and again in 2006, winning the AFC Coach of the Year award in 1990. Art is known around the NFL for his classy demeanor and respect for the game. But, as a former member of the Raiders, Art certainly has his share of incredible stories to share when you connect with him on Vizzitt.
